The Fish

There once were two people who loved each other so, their bond was unbreakable, not even little gremlins could woe. They loved endlessly, cared deeply, and dreamed of a future endlessly. Life was good, great in fact. In the warm days of August, they each bought pet fish. But something happened, something that the two did not notice. One bought three fish, the other bought one. They went about life, as happy as can be, but something happened. None of them could see. But when the one who bought one fish saw his fish die, something inside changed. A little piece of them died. They continued to be as happy as can be, but he knew something that she did not see. In early October, when the sun was still warm, one of her three fish died, but she continued to soar. Or so she thought. The two stopped talking as much as they usually did. Fights, arguments, anger, most of which were all one sided. She did not know what was going on, but the love slowly drowned. She spent a lot of time at with friends, and without knowing, she caught her eyes on a new fish. But lets not forget, that she still had two fish, and he had none. Blinded by love, she loved him endlessly. Unfortunately, he was no longer blind, and did not want to see. She tried, and tried, and tried, but he did not want to give the love he could not see. He did not want to rekindle the four fish, that she once loved. You see, she had three fish, and he had one. She was willing to risk, to give, to care, to work, and love more, with her three fish, more than he did with his one. Then she had two fish, while he had none. She had twice fight left in her, while he had none. But that is how life goes. Love comes, and love goes. But love cannot stand with a two verses one. Love can only stand, when you find the matching one. She learned that since she has two fish, the true one must have two fish as well. For the universe needs balance, then love can dwell.
